Recently, Professor Chi Baoming, Professor Jiang Jiyi, Associate Professor Gu Hongbiao and Dr. Nagin of IDP attend the 45th IAH Congress in South Korea.

The participants of IDP made academic reports on "Mumerical Simulation of Multifield Coupling Process of Tidal Load Effect of Seawater Intrusion", "Groundwater Pollution Assessment and Its Cause Analysis in Ili River Valley", "Experimental Study on Coseismic Water Level Change Based on Seismic Simulation Shaking Table" and "Study on the Influence of Seawater Density Change on Seawater Intrusion Degree in Coastal Aquifer" respectively and introduced its latest scientific research achievements in the field of hydrogeology. The meeting also held in-depth exchanges and discussions with domestic and foreign experts on relevant scientific issues.

The conference was held in Daejeon Convention and Exhibition Center, South Korea, themed on "Groundwater and Life: Transforming Science and Technology into Action". The International Hydrogeological Conference (IAH) is the highest level international hydrogeological conference. It provides an academic exchange platform for hydrogeologists from all over the world and promotes international cooperation in the field of hydrogeology.

During their stay in South Korea, at the invitation of Prof. Nam. C. Woo of Yonsei University of Korea, Chi Baoming and his party went to Yonsei University for academic exchange and visit. Prof. Jiang Jiyi introduced the development course of IDP and its achievements in teaching, scientific research and social services in recent years. Dr. Gu Hongbiao introduced the latest scientific research achievements in the field of groundwater coseismic response. The two sides also conducted in-depth discussions on postgraduate and undergraduate training and related scientific research projects in the field of seismic underground fluid, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement to form a cooperation intention.
